Yehuda Shoenfeld

Professor Yehuda Shoenfeld, MD, FRCP (Hon.), Head, Department of Medicine B' & Center for Autoimmune Diseases, Chaim Sheba Medical Center (affiliated to Tel-Aviv University) Tel-Hashomer, Israel.

Dr. Yehuda Shoenfeld is the founder of the Zabludowitcz Center for Autoimmune Diseases in Sheba Medical Center, which is affiliated to the Sackler Faculty of Medicine in Tel- Aviv University, Israel. He is the Incumbent of the Laura Schwarz-Kipp Chair for Research of Autoimmune Diseases in the Tel-Aviv University. He has published 1750 papers in peer reviewed journals and 45 textbooks in autoimmunity. He is the founder and editor of Autoimmunity Reviews and the editor of Journal of Autoimmunity (both IF>8.0). He has organized 25 international congresses of autoimmunity all over the world. 

His clinical and scientific works focus on autoimmune/rheumatic diseases. He has 27 students acting as professors and heads of departments all over the world.
