Šimons Svirskis, MD, Ph.D., is an experienced researcher in the field of data management. Conducts research in biostatistics, carries out statistical modeling of infectious diseases. Previous project was Search for new neuroprotective drugs. Currently, the role of human herpesviruses 6 and 7 (HHV6, HHV7) in neuroinflammation, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, as well as in development and progression of rheumatoid arthritis and endocarditis is being studied.
