Karl Föhr, PhD, expert in patch clamping techniques, transfection and electrophysiology of primary neurons, and other cell types including primary macrophages and dendritic cells. The functional analysis of channel activities such as P2X7 which correlate with SNP genotypes. As a well-trained electrophysiologist, his work experience covers various genetic abnormalities of channelopathies in animal models as well as humans using whole cell analysis. He teaches in cardiology related diseases as well as in trauma medicine for medical students and doctoral fellows.
